As a result of the professional development opportuntiy the week of Oct. 7th, I made a point of doing a good job with the lesson wrap-up. I also clearly communicate learning objectives and performance outcomes to my students by writing them on the white board using performance verbs and stating them at the beginning and end of the lesson.

It's going to be a long day...

After grading labs until 11 pm last night I am so... tired. After school is my first induction meeting. I feel like I'm always running. Can life slow down for me, please?

Today is October 6th, 2009. The school days are flying by so fast! There have been lessons that have worked and lessons that need to be redone for the next year. I feel a first year teacher is always making mistakes, but can only keep getting better.
